Connected Corridors at 2014 TRB Annual Meeting

The Transportation Research Board's 93rd Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., on January 12-14, 2014 saw some 12,000 transportation professionals—policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions—gather to present and discuss contemporary transportation issues and the latest transportation research.

Connected Corridors team members presented results supporting a number of active research areas, including the following:

The Connected Corridors team also staffed PATH's booth in the meeting's exhibit hall.  This gave the team a unique opportunity to present Connected Corridors work in progress to a variety of practitioners, researchers, and agency representatives; demonstrations included work towards traffic state estimation forecast as well as coordinated macromodel (UC Berkeley) / micromodel (TSS/Aimsun) implementation of a model-predictive controller.
