About Connected Corridors
Connected Corridors is a collaborative program to research, develop, and test an Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) approach to managing transportation corridors in California. Its institutional context looks like this:
ITS
The Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS)(link is external)(link is external) at the University of California, Berkeley, is one of the world's leading centers for transportation research, education, and scholarship. It is home to a number of transportation research centers, each with a unique research focus.
PATH
One of the research centers within ITS is Partners for Advanced Transportation Technology (PATH)(link is external)(link is external), which focuses on intelligent transportation research.
Connected Corridors
PATH operates various research programs, including Connected Corridors, which focuses on Integrated Corridor Management.
