Ongoing collaboration among people and organizations is what makes an ICM system possible. At various points in developing the system, that collaboration is formally recognized in written agreements that express the participants' interest, support, and commitment to the project.
In June 2015, the Project Charter was signed by all stakeholders for the I-210 Pilot. The purpose of the Project Charter is to establish a mutual understanding of the Connected Corridors I-210 Pilot and define the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders for planning and implementing the initial phase of the project.
In December 2017, the stakeholders extended the Project Charter for one year through an Amendment and added two additional stakeholders: LA County Regional Integration of Intelligent Transportation Systems (RIITS) and LA Safe (Los Angeles County Service Authority for Freeway Emergencies).
The team is currently working on the next major agreement milestone: the drafting and signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
